The Crowley Lake 5k/10K trail run is this Sunday, October 6^th. The run offers a 5k and 10k option as well as a kids 1k. Fundraising for this event benefits the local community by going towards creating active classes, special workshops, and neighborhood improvements.

Some upcoming plans include resurfacing the tennis court, creating new mountain bike trails, Community Garden improvements, shade structures and landscaping at the Crowley Skate Park.

The course winds through fire roads next to Crowley Lake and past Beaver Cove and Crooked Creek with beautiful views of the surrounding Glass Mountains, White Mountains and Sierra Nevada Mountains. There will be lots of raffle prizes after the run and an overall 1st place winner award as well as 1st and 2nd place tokens for each 5k/10k age group winner.
