Happy Independence Day!

Time for fireworks, hotdogs and Apple Pie! The Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Parade is Monday, July 4th! The parade begins at 11:00 am until around 12-12:30 pm. It starts at the intersection of Old Mammoth Road and ends at Manzanita Road and Main St.

After the Parade make sure to check out the Mammoth Lakes Arts on the 4^th Festival. It’s Mono Arts Council’s annual kickoff fundraising event. The festival begins on Friday the 1^st and runs through Monday the 4^th of July. Most of the art and music is the work of local artists and musicians. There will also be food vendors, craft cocktails and local beer.

End the day with the Annual 4^th of July Fireworks Spectacular on 1149 South Landing Road in Crowley Lake. The display will include over 737 shells and last for 20 minutes. Admission for the show is $25.00 per car or truck and $5.00 per individual or bike. It starts at 9:15pm.

Fourth of July Events

There are a lot of fantastic and fun events taking place this Fourth of July weekend. First, be sure to check on the Mammoth Lakes Arts on the 4th. Starting Friday, July 2nd, take a look at various artists and vendors, as they showcase their art from around the country. The art will vary from fine art to handmade goods. Visit the official event website for additional information.

Next, start your 4th of July morning off right with the Mammoth Lakes Lions Club July 4th Pancake breakfast. Adults are $12, and kids 12 and under are $8. Breakfast starts at 7 AM, and visit the official event website for additional information.

Once your belly is full, you can choose to burn off those calories at the 16th Annual Footloose Freedom Mile. Sunday, July 4th at 10:30 AM, join in this one-mile road race with proceeds benefitting the elite and youth divisions of the Mammoth Track Club. You can finish your run just in time to see the Annual Mammoth Lakes 4th of July Parade. The parade starts promptly at 11 AM and begins at the intersection of Chateau Road and Old Mammoth Road. Visit their website for a detailed parade route and additional information.

Finally, wrap up your 4th of July weekend at the 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. The show will begin at approximately 9:15 PM and will be 20 minutes of spectacular sights. Admission is $25 per car or $5 per individual.

This year’s “Sky Concert” will propel over 737 shells into the sky for a remarkable 20-minute show! Admission is $25 per car, RV, or truck and $5 per individual walking/bike riding.
